ALL MBLL VOLUNTEERS - INCLUDING MANAGERS AND COACHES - ARE SUBJECT TO BACKGROUND CHECKS AND MUST SUBMIT LITTLE LEAGUE VOLUNTEER APPLICATIONS USING THE OFFICIAL LITTLE LEAGUE FORMS. 

NOTE:  Appointment of team managers and coaches will be made by the Executive Board in the exercise of its discretion.

Player evaluations for 12-, 11-, 10- and 9-year-old boys and girls will be held on Saturday, Mar. 10, 2012 - times and locations to be announced. Weather permitting, these player evaluations will be held outdoors.  Indoor evaluations of 8-year-old boys and girls will be held at the Brielle School gym on Wednesday, Feb. 22, 2012, from 7 pm to 9 pm.  Attendance and participation are mandatory for any 8-year-old boy or girl who wishes to play Minors in Spring 2012.

NOTE:  Please encourage players that you know to participate in the player evaluations. Every boy or girl who wishes to play Majors or Minors in Spring 2012 must be registered by the date of the player evaluations. Any player who is not registered by that date will not be drafted onto a team on Mar. 11-12, 2012. (See draft schedule below.) Instead, boys and girls who are late registered will be assigned to Majors and Minors teams, taking into account that player's ability and the need to maintain competitive balance between the teams.

Mar. 11-12, 2012:  Boys and girls Majors and Minors teams will be drafted.  Boys teams will be drafted on Sunday, Mar. 11, and girls teams will be drafted on Monday, Mar. 12. (Please see Note in previous paragraph concerning late registering players who will be assigned to teams, rather than being drafted.)

Mar. 17, 2012:  Field cleanup day at MBLL and equipment distribution day. Participation by team managers and coaches is mandatory. PLEASE PUT THIS DATE ON YOUR CALENDAR.

Mar. 15, 2012:  Team practices begin. MBLL's insurance coverage becomes effective on this date. If your team engages in practice before Mar. 15, 2012, you will not be covered by MBLL's insurance policy.

Apr. 2, 2012:  Regular season games begin for boys and girls Majors and Minors.  We will play games on Apr. 2-3-4-5 and then take a recess for Spring Break.  Regular season games will resume on Apr. 16, 2012.

Apr. 28, 2012:  Parade Day. Pony and T-Ball games will begin on this date.
